Marketplace Advisors, Inc. provides community planning services to municipalities and private development companies across the United States.
David Marks has specialized in real estate development consulting since 1986. He was a Senior Vice President with Trammell Crow Company and a Vice President with Real Estate Research Consultants, before starting Marketplace Advisors, Inc. in 2001. He is presently working with Michael Collard Properties, Inc. on retail development projects throughout the State of Florida.
He has been a real estate development consultant to private and public entities such as: the City of Winter Park, City of Sanford, City of Irondequoit - NY, Rollins College, Lennar Partners, St. Joe Commercial, Newland Communities, Universal Studios, SunTrust Bank, Reynolds Metals, and The RREEF Funds.
He is a lecturer at national and regional conferences with organizations such as: The Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and numerous other public and private sector groups.
He received a Master of Arts, Real Estate and Urban Analysis from the Business School at the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Design, from the College of Architecture at the University of Florida. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida.
